Tips for attending Canton Fair

Canton fair is a is a comprehensive international trading event, held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Before your trip to China, there is something you need to know:
1.If this is your first time to atend the fair, you need to get a badge of entrance.
First you need to do a pre-registration on the website of the Canton Fair: create an account and fill in you information. Then in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, hotels (that cooperate with the Fair) or at some gates of the complex, you can get your physical bagde of entrance. It’s highly recommended to make the badge in airport or hotel, because just at three gastes (Gate 4, 6, 12) of the complex there is Buyer’s registration Office. It may take you 1-2 hours to finish because you have to take detour and wait in queue.

2.If you have enough budget for your acommodation, it’s recommended to stay in hotel that cooperate with the Fair. Here is the list: https://www.cfte.com/en/hotel
These hotels offer Badge Making Service and free shuttle bus between hotel and the Fair in the morning and in the afternoon, which are more conviente than staying in other hotels. But for sure, their price is higher and it´s difficult to reserve, especially during the canton fair period, you need to book in advance. 
If your hotel doesn´t have shuttle bus service, you can take metro to Xingangdong or Panzhou Station or take a taxi to the complex. After 5pm in the afternoon, there will be quite many persons outside the complex to take taxi or metro, watch your time and leave on time, or you will waste a lot of time on traffic.

3.Each phase is held for 4.5 days. The last day of each phase will open for half day (until 12pm at noon), the exhibitors will be preparing for leaving in the morning, so go to the Fair in the first four days is much better.
