2024-10-10 17:15

FBA is the abbreviation for Fulfillment by Amazon, a customer service and drop shipping service provided by Amazon. Including pre-sale, delivery, after-sale, product returns and exchanges and other services. Cross-border e-commerce companies can save a lot of time and resources and better expand business globally by leaving the tedious work to Amazon FBA.

Sellers using FBA to ship products first need to create an FBA shipping plan in the Seller Center backend, create a new label, print the label, package and deliver the product to a freight forwarder. According to the shipping plan generated by the system, the products will be sent to the FBA warehouse center. Amazon provides storage services and a fee will be charged depending on the volume, weight of the product and storage time.

FBA Main Transportation Modes:
International courier: International courier delivery has the characteristics of flexibility and variety, wide delivery range, fast delivery and high price. It is one of the transportation methods most used by small and medium-sized sellers.

Air transportation: International air transportation has gained a considerable market due to its fast, safe and punctual efficiency, has greatly shortened the delivery time, has the characteristics of speed and maneuverability, and is an indispensable method for the transportation of valuables, products frescoes and precision instruments. Some logistics companies only deliver goods to the airport of the destination country. Some companies will offer more comprehensive services, air transportation + delivery, once customs clearance is completed, arrange local courier delivery to FBA warehouse.

Sea transportation: International sea transportation is the most important mode of transportation in international logistics. It refers to the use of ships to travel by sea in different countries and places. A method of transporting goods between ports in the region and the most used in international cargo transport. At present, more than 2/3 of international trade and about 90% of China's import and export goods are carried out by sea transportation. Shipping time is a little slower than air, but it is more economical.
