  • What does China-Latin do?
    China-Latin is an agency dedicated to international transportation from China to worldwide and sourcing service in China, located in Guangzhou China.
  • Do I have to register a company or be registered as an importer to be able to import from China?
    If you import more than USD2000 of merchandise, it is considered as import for consumption. It is required that you are a registered importer.

    In addition, you must have the services of a customs broker to assist you in the import customs clearance procedures.
  • Can I buy from various suppliers and you help me consolidate the merchandise?
    Yes, we will coordinate with your suppliers to consolidate all the merchandise in our warehouse and send it to you in one shipment.
  • What budget is recommended to import from China?
    We suggest our clients to import from China with a minimum value of 10 thousand dollars.

    Considering that the freight, insurance, import taxes and inland transportation from the port of destination to your warehouse will generate an additional cost between 30%-80% to the FOB value of goods.
  • What information do I need to provide to get a freight quote from China?

    As the freight changes every week, we need the following information to quote you a valid freight rate. 
    A. Description of merchandise

    B. Weight and volume of cargo

    C. Incoterm of the order: FOB or EXW?

    D. Port (Airport) of origin and of destination

    E. Estimated delivery date of the goods

  • How much does our service cost?
    If you book our freight forwawrder service, we only charge for the freight of the goods, whether it is by sea, by air or courier. 

    If you book our sourcing agent service, we charge a commission of 4%-5% of the value of the order. 


  • Do you help to negotiate with my suppliers and if you do the quality inspection?
    Yes, as long as you work with us the for the “sourcing agent service”.
    We also provide the service of only "quality inspection" in China for those importers who don’t need the complete chain of service.
  • How to calculate the total cost of each importation from China?

    The total cost of importation includes the following costs:

    A. The price of the merchandise 

    B. International freight

    C. Insurance (Optional)

    D. The import duty

    E. VAT in the country of destination

    F. Customs Clearance charges

    G. Destination port charges and ground freight

  • What documents are needed for destination customs clearance?

    A.Commercial Invoice

    B.Packing List

    C.B / L (by sea) or AWB (by air)

    D.Certificate of Origin (Not mandatory)

    E.Insurance (Not mandatory)

    F.Technical specifications of the merchandise (Not mandatory) 

  • Can I have better prices if I import through you?
    Yes, we work for your interest, not for the interest of factories. We strive to meet target prices.
  • Can we pay the provider through you?
    Yes, as long as our "purchasing agent service" has been contracted and bank charges are added.
  • Do you buy from "Alibaba" and "Made in China" ?
    It depends on the quantity and variety that the customer buys. Alibaba is designed for medium small buyers and full of intermediaries. In China there are more fruitful local sources with local language.
  • Which cost is NOT included in the full service of ¨Sourcing Agent Service in China¨?
    External costs such as travel to factories for inspections, shipping of samples, international freight and import tariffs are not included.
